Don't just take our word for it
"Thank you for the friendly and efficient service we received recently. We were a little reluctant to go ahead with a site inspection trip as friends of ours had done a trip a few months ago and had to endure hours on end of hard-sell presentations. We found your ‘no-pressure’ approach refreshing and it allowed us time to think about what we really wanted. As it happened, Las Torrentas had everything we were looking for in a development, and we can’t wait until 2008 to move in and live our Spanish dream! "

El Molino Restaurant

The Old Mill or El Molino has always played a central part in village life. Generations of farmers once brought their grain to be ground at this old stone mill, and it was a place where they passed the time of day and exchanged news as the "Las Torrentas" river drove the big wheel round and round.

We felt that it should continue to be a place for friendly get-togethers, so, with the help of skilled Murcian craftsmen and historical experts, we are carefully restoring El Molino, breathing new life back into it again.

Residents and their guests will soon be able to enjoy drinks at the new terrace café bar, plus fine dining in the authentic restaurant, with tables located around the millstones. The menu will be tasty and varied, stocked with organic fruit and vegetables grown at Las Torrentas. The mill restaurant will also host celebrations, wine tasting and special events throughout the year.

Facilities will include:

   • Sympathetically restored 19th century mill
   • 50-seat restaurant
   • 25-seat café/bar with outdoor terraces
   • An airy lobby with seating areas and tables
   • Conference/education area for anything from Spanish classes to
     art exhibitions
   • 10 self-contained guest lodges with gardens
